Alissa Eischens
A significant portion of Alissa’s practice is dedicated to supporting BIPOC individuals navigating the unique, layered intersections of systemic oppression, cultural expectations, and personal healing. In particular, she has many years of experience working with Native American and Latinx clients.
In sessions, therapy is a collaborative, deeply restorative environment where clients’ intellect and creativity are respected. Alissa’s approach is rooted in psychodynamic frameworks, looking beneath the surface to understand how personal history and unconscious patterns shape the present. To support healing on a deep level, she also integrates advanced, body-based trauma therapies like EMDR and Brainspotting when appropriate.
Together, she guides clients beyond symptom management to look closely at the root of difficult relational patterns, helping clients shift them so they can reconnect with who they truly are, build more satisfying relationships, and move forward with greater authenticity and clarity.
Outside of her practice, Alissa prioritizes her own restoration by spending time in nature, hunting for the perfect vintage find, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
