Lisa Riggs is a board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatry with extensive experience across a variety of settings to include forensic inpatient, outpatient, emergency and rehabilitation facilities.

Lisa is trained in the diagnosis and management of mental health conditions for adults and adolescents and practices a holistic approach to care. Lisa can provide medication management, health maintenance education and therapy services.

Lisa graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors in nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and in 2009 with a Master’s in nursing from New Mexico State University. Lisa has a strong interest in integrative medicine and is currently pursuing additional certification in this area.

Lisa spent most of her life in major metro areas across the states but has come to treasure the rhythms of rural life and is currently living and working in Hibbing, MN. When she is not at the office Lisa’s hobbies include; the study of history, philosophy, the arts, ancient traditions for healing and spending as much time as possible in nature particularly near any body of water that allows sportfishing.
