Cliff Dahlberg

MSW, LGSW, LADC, TCYM

Cliff’s focus is to help people discover, heal, and love their authentic selves. He uses his polyvagal-based training in combination with a process-based ecological approach to serve people experiencing depression, anxiety, and problematic substance use. Using the Rogerian principles of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard as the heart of his practice, Cliff integrates evidence-based modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Focusing (Gendlin), Yoga (Trauma Conscious Yoga Method), and the Fogg Behavioral Model into a personalized approach for each person he serves.

Cliff earned his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota. He is dually licensed as a graduate social worker (LGSW) and alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). He is certified in both the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method℠ (TCYM) and the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM) for treating trauma and addiction. Cliff has trained in psychedelic-assisted forms of therapy including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) through the Polaris Insight Center and Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) through the Psychedelic Somatic Institute. He has also completed courses in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) taught by Steven Hayes Ph.D., and is currently studying at the Polyvagal Institute in the Polyvagal Certificate course led by Dr. Stephen Porges and continuing to deepen his understanding of the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model by engaging in Jan Winhall’s facilitator training program.
