Feeling stuck in your head? If your inner dialogue sounds like a chaotic group chat of overthinking, spiraling, and “Why am I like this?”— you don’t have to untangle that mess by yourself. Jason is a gay cisgender male therapist who practices from a harm-reduction perspective and specializes in working with men. Whether it’s anxiety, trauma, body image, a complicated relationship with substances, or the pressure to always have it together, he’ll help you explore what’s actually showing up. No clinical jargon, zero pretense—just honest therapy, with a well-timed curse word.
People who have worked with Jason include gay, bi, queer, questioning, and straight men, as well as those who don’t necessarily identify with a particular label. From old scars and self-doubt to burnout and perfectionism, he’ll make room for the stuff you don’t post online. You don’t have to keep up appearances here. He creates an unfiltered space to question societal, cultural, and familial expectations, quiet the background noise, and reconnect with who you truly are.
Jason also works with couples and people in relationships of all kinds, including non-monogamous and open relationships, friendships, and other meaningful connections. Whether you’re working through a rough patch, trying to make sense of recurring patterns, or hoping to better understand yourself and your connections with others, Jason offers a space to show up authentically and work through things without judgment.
Jason earned his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. His practice blends Brainspotting, somatic therapy, and mindfulness through a mind-body-spirit lens—drawing from clinical training alongside his studies at the University of Minnesota’s Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing, where he also studied grief, loss, and forgiveness. He works at each client’s pace, helping them feel more grounded and present as they move toward changes that matter to them.
Outside the therapy room, Jason enjoys walking around the Cities with his dog, Eli, practicing yin yoga, spending time in nature, listening to way too many podcasts, and bouncing between country and EDM.
